Unlike Mr. Burtman and Mr. Klaw, Elmer Batters was a professional photographer and his magazines show good pictures, without unpleasant shadows.

Fascinated with women's legs and feet, Mr. Batters made a career of exploring his interests in photograpghs. The ebook shows some of his earliest photo work.

The good news here is that many of his models wear well-fitting, full-fashioned stockings, snugly adjusted. Fond of garters, garter belts, panties, and negligees of many lengths, Mr. Batters pictures his cheerful blonds and sultry brunettes as living room goddesses and kitchen cuties. His curvaceous lovelies wear mules and pumps with three or four inch heels.

The magazine contains short editorial statements, written by Mr. Batters, in which he shares his views on beauty, "Leg Art", and thinking people. The assortment of models, he says, shows the best of Hollywood.

He has clear ideas of how models should pose their feet and legs and how best to capture their beauty with a camera. Mostly taken in his home, the images demonstrate his pinup ideals, especially of feet within the sheer graphics of FF hosiery, posed as if on tiptoe.
