We acquired the magazine version of the California Star video because one of the actresses appears in an excellent corset. Except for electronic gadgets attached to head and nipples, Sharon Montgomery's costume consists only of black leather thigh boots and tight leather corset. The imagery includes bondage elements, but the ebook of Master Control has been added to the Fetish Nostalgia catalog because of the corset.

The story has something to do with spies and Dr. Weir [Georgia Van Helsing], a mad scientist who's developed a mechanism that causes people to loose mental capacities and become obedient, like android automatons. She's applied the treatment to lab assistant Sally. Blurbs spaced through the pages tell this story:

Dr. Elizabeth Wier is insane .... insane with the demand for power and control over everything and everyone. In her quest for absolute power, Dr. Wier stumbles on a method of control over the human body and mind which is complete.

As MASTER CONTROL opens, Dr. Wier is putting the finishing touches on her final experiment, a beautiful lab assistant she has turned into an unwilling subject for her mad experiments. The girl is terrified and struggles to get free from her bounds; but is of no use, for the Doctor has taken all of the necessary precautions to insure that her experimental subject does not escape.

Dr. Wier threw a switch and the bound girl hurled into a twisting, writhing contortion of terror and pain as the impulses passed through her mind and body. Suddenly, just as abruptly as it began, it was over. The girl, released from the chair, stood, staring straight ahead now under the total control of Dr. Wier.

Success! Dr. Wier's work is complete . . . she now has a method by which her power is infinite and totally satisfying. Mad with power. Dr. Wier begins to sexually enjoy her new slave's complete helplessness!

Meanwhile, Dr. Wier's maid, cleaning upstairs, is not all that she appears to be. Planted by a large research outfit to spy on the experiments of her employer, she knows something evil is happening; but has yet to discover exactly what is occuring in the basement lab. In a secret telephone conversation with her operative, the maid tells her real employer that she will soon find a way to secretly enter the lab, which is always tightly locked.

Dr. Wier, satisfied by her slave, leaves the lab and comes into the living room. She demands a drink from the maid. Later, when the maid refuses the Doctor's sexual advances, the Doctor announces she's leaving for the evening.

After Dr. Wier's departure, the maid discovers the Doctor's lab coat in which the Doctor has carelessly left the keys to the lab's security system. Taking the opportunity, the maid calls her agent, telling them that she is about to break into the lab and if she doesn't contact them within two hours, they should take emergency measures and come to Dr. Wier's residence in force.

The maid finally gains admittance to the lab and stands awe-struck at the scene before her. Slowly, she realizes that the girl before her is zombie-like and unable to communicate. Feelings stir within the maid, she realizes that she is turned on by the helpless girl and begins to passionately attack her; but there is no response.

While the maid is in the lab, Dr. Wier returns. Searching for the keys, she realizes what has happened and returns quickly to the lab. The maid, totally occupied by her sexual desires, does not hear the Doctor enter. Surprised, the maid tries to explain her curiosity and the Doctor is unusually calm and at first seems to forgive the maid for her intrusion. Dr. Wier even goes so far as to suggest that the maid can help in the experiments.

Dr. Wier's trick throws the maid off-guard enough for the robot-like girl to be commanded to sieze her. Soon the maid is in bondage and proceeds to question her, tormenting her into nearly telling her secret. Dr. Wier tires of her efforts to obtain the truth from the maid.

Images consist of photographs taken on the set of the video. Professional photography exposes shapely pulchritude of four actresses.

Brightness, contrast and levels were adjusted, shadows reduced, and many specks re-touched. Monochrome images transposed to ebook format with clarity. Color films appear to have been mis-adjusted, appearing a little dark on pages. Image editing improves them.

The ebook contains all Master Control photographs in the magazine. Eleven blocks of narrative text were placed on separate pages, near where they appear in the printed version. Picture sequence was revised in pursuit of narrative continuity. Some walls, floors, ceilings and backgrounds were cropped out. The ebook contains none of the advertising that appears in the magazine.

Images were optimized on more than 100 pages, including a few virtual enlargements of fetish elements and figure features.
