Masquerade in Petticoats

A summary on the back cover describes the circumstances of the characters:

Robert Carroll, a chorus boy in an English music hall, is approached by famed movie star Lola La Vant, whose one remaining ambition is to take first prize at the annual Chepstowe masquerade ball, three months hence. She offers to pay him handsomely if he will accompany her to the ball, which is for doubles only. The catch is that he must appear with her as her twin sister and this will require him to undergo three months of intensive training. Since Robert is a secret transvestlte, he eagerly accepts her offer and embarks on an adventure which will profoundly change his way of life.

The first-person prose describes Robert's sensuous journey toward femininity and the characters he encounters during his training. At Dr. Hilda's office, he meets Cecile and Leslie and marvels at their transformation.

I was amazed at the completeness and perfection of the two former boys’ change. Their pretty faces were velvety smooth, and meticulously made up with plucked eyebrows, mascaraed lashes, darkened eyelids, and full painted lips which parted in happy smiles. Their arms
were white and smooth and their hands well-manicured. The cut of their frocks allowed more than a glimpse of curvaceous bosoms which were obviously not merely the result of tight-lacing or bust padding.

Their narrow waists and plump bottoms were well-outlined by their frocks, and they wore the
sheerest nylons and high heels, their legs smoothly girlish. Cecile, in her abbreviated maid’s costume, showed her legs to mid-thigh, where they disappeared into a mass of frothy lace petticoats and panties.

Called Bobbie in his female persona, Robert falls in love with Lola and she with him. The text provides many details about his feelings, medications, undies and cosmetics.

The text was re-set for the ebook iteration. Few changes were made to the colorful narrative. About 6800 words.

Silky Slip-Ups

A married man, Gordon suspects his wife is having an affair. He decides to use her time away from home to explore his life-long passion for dressing in women's clothing.

He rents a flat and shops for women's clothing and accessories. He can dress en femme in lingerie that doesn't belong to his wife and not be concerned about her unexpected intrusion on his reveries.

The first-person prose describes exquisite experiences.

I looked at myself in the mirror, full of anticipation at the thought of putting on that wonderful underwear.

I went into the bedroom where I had put out some of the things I planned to wear. It was the pale-blue cotton crepe and lace bra and knickers that I had chosen, even though neither of the two suspender-belts actually matched them.

But the very slim white suspender belt would go along with them quite well, I decided. I had resisted the temptation to wear the camisole and French knickers, saving them for another time. I also had a preference for tight-fitting knickers (although I was later to begin to prefer cami-knickers and French knickers as possibly looking more feminine as I liked the feel of them between my legs as well
as their skintight appearance on my buttocks.

I put on the bra, fitting the two clasps behind my back without difficulty. This was an unwired and un-padded bra. It was necessary to fill out the B cups and for this I was forced to use one or two pairs of the stockings I had bought.

Before I put on the matching knickers, I put on the suspender-belt. It was elasticated sufficiently to stretch to fit my waist where I am about 33 inches . . .

Then the beautiful pale-blue knickers or briefs as the girl had called them. When I pulled them up my legs and tight into my crotch, completely covering my genitals, and then looked at myself in the mirror that showed me from behind I was thrilled to see how they sheathed my rather prominent buttocks.

Then looking at my body again from the frontal view I was exhilarated to see that I had a distinct feminine appeal — or at least I thought so. Already my erotic feelings were beginning to be
roused and it wasn’t long before the bulge in my pale-blue knickers began to be prominent.

. . . . the feel of the wonderful lingerie and its sight of it on my body ware having a terrific effect on me. . . . I was trembling with excitement in every limb.

Now for the stockings. For some reason I chose a white pair, or off-white to be more correct, a shade I found suited my legs. When I attached the suspenders and walked round the room I felt once again that wonderful pull of stockings on suspenders as one moved. Before starting to make up I thought it would be a good idea to put on my shoes to see how I looked in them and to take a glance at the back of my legs.

As I planned to wear the velvet dress, I chose the white high-heeled sandals. As soon as I had got them on, I could see that they improved my legs quite a lot and this was especially borne out when I looked at the back of my legs in the mirror.

The text was re-set for the ebook iteration. All British aspects of the prose were retained, including spelling, but some punctuation and paragraphing were revised. 15000 words.
