In the 1960s, Sari Publishing Company produced Hefty, Swingers, Candid, Raw, and Sultry magazines. In 1966, they launched Bronze Beauties Revue.A year later, the nameplate was owned by Press Arts, who were publishing monthly issues.

While the cover promises bronzeness, pretty models from varied backgrounds appear, with a preponderance of sepia sweeties. Only first names identify most.

Sultry posers show off their curves in hosiery, garter belts and panties. A photo set that's supposed to present a wrestler shows her in an animal print bikini.

Exotic Kim poses in sheer nylons, sheer panties, garter belt and pumps in a pictorial titled Tigress on a Leash. She's pictured in the kitchen with a narrow leather belt around one ankle and a chain attached.

Bootsy and Mayleene add boxing gloves to their undies costume. Accompanying blurbs make references to contemporary notables Cassius Clay, Sonny Liston, Lester Maddox and Batman, which was a weekly TV show in 1967.

The ebook contains all content in the 72-page magazine, including advertising. The page sequence was revised to obtain continuity of one short story. Some margins and borders were cropped out. A few pages layouts were revised.

Brightness, contrast and levels were adjusted and shadows reduced. Images transposed to ebook format with a nice palette of grays.

All new scans.

A popular magazine in its day, a rare 1960s artifact now, Bronze Beauties Revue offers a generous array of fine feminine curves, aimed to attract fans of models of African descent. These sultry vixens still beguile us with amused smiles and sexy ebony bodies.
