NOTE TO BUYERS OF THE NUTRIX Bondage Enthusiasts Bound in Leather, Volume Four, EBOOK:
Book 1 and Book 2 of Bound in Leather were originally sold as photo prints in the 1950s by Irving Klaw. In the 1960s, he divided Bound in Leather, Book 1, and Bound in Leather, Book 2, into four parts, published them as four small Nutrix books, and sold them as Bondage Enthusiasts Bound in Leather, Volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4. These four booklets did not contain all the pictures that comprise the Bound in Leather, Book 1, and Bound in Leather, Book 2, photo prints sets. Bound in Leather, Book 2, contains most of the content of Bondage Enthusiasts Bound in Leather, Volume Four, another product Bondage Enthusiasts Bound in Leather, Volume Four, which we have sold as part of product SKU: #800 includes about one third of the pictures that comprise Bound in Leather, Book Two.

I realize that this is confusing. We've done this partial repetition of content because two customers asked for it.

Bound in Leather, Book 2 — 30 episodes
Mr. Klaw advertised of Bound in Leather, Book 2, in Irving Klaw Bulletin 80 in 1953.

Through its unlikely characters and impossible fetish costumes, the story and pictures present a peek at sexist, post-war US. These days, we’re not permitted to fantasize about gorgeous women who insist upon being fixed in unyielding bondage while dressed in the tightest of corsets and highest of heels. Yet, this unlikely premise suggested an excellent assortment of scenarios for a gifted illustrator and a diligent writer. The characters create a domestic ideal, where women enjoy showing their fine figures in stockings, corsets and heels to men who appreciate and admire at them.

In Book 1, Ted Walk (Klaw spelled backward) meets exotically-garbed Nicki, her mother Vicki and Fifi, a maid with a French accent. The lovely ladies of the Roberts household always wear pumps, sandals or boots with high, thin heels, long gloves, sheer hosiery, and figure-shaping belts and corsetry, usually of leather. Dick, the husband/father encourages and appreciates their fetish costumes, and repeatedly explains how much the ladies like their tight fashions. In the story, this isn’t punishment; these characters enjoy their exotic confinement — the-tighter-the-better.

Because she's pretty and enthusiastic about living in a household where she can continue to dress in extreme leather attire, Ted marries Nicki in Book 2. The prose describes each component worn by mother, daughter and maid at the country wedding. A reception follows, populated by other women, similarly dressed. Dick identifies them as”Members of the Society . . . where a tiny waist counts for more than family history, pretty legs take the place of social position, and a tight gag is the passport to complete acceptance.”

Fifi and the newlyweds adjourn to Ted's cottage for honeymooning, tight-lacing and bondage. After dinner, Nicki asks her husband to strap her feet into training boots for the night. The following day, Nicki is tied to a chair, requiring that she be fed breakfast. Ted drives the resident beauties to a golf course, where they carry equipment while dressed in tight leather leotards, stockings and high-heels.

We’ve seen Mr. Stanton acclaimed as “The Master of Fetish,” and works such as this one helped to build that reputation. Using both ink and pencil, gradient grays show shine, shape and contour. The youthful energy of the artist manifests itself in a treasure of ornate bondage details that carefully delineate masks, buckles, cuffs, straps and all the laces that close boots, helmets, collars, gloves, binders and corsets. In addition to the slender, long-legged femmes of the story, he decorates rooms with paintings and sculptures of other fantasy females, similarly attired and restrained.

The text, probably written by Mr. Klaw, describes the women in the pictures, their costumes, and restraints. The processes of binding, inserting, tightening and walking in high heels is carefully traced in the narrative.

Each of the 30 episodes arranged two to five comic panels on a page with blocks of text. A digital replica of Bound in Leather, Book 2, collects the 30 episodes, as published in Bizarre Comix, Volume7, with complete, unmodified page layouts. The digital replica places each episode on a separate ebook page. Brightness and contrast were adjusted.

All new scans.

The optimized ebook breaks the panels apart, placing each picture on a separate page. Some illustrations of corsets, legs, shoes and boots are repeated, enlarged, on following pages. No text. 100+ pages.

For those with bondage and fetish interests, the original material delivers dense erotic content. The optimized ebook presents the conscientiously-crafted, classic work in a form that respects its quality, and uses a display mechanism that intensifies the viewing experience.

Captain Kidnapp, Lady Pirate — 12 episodes
Captain Kidnapp's crew attacks the sailing ship on which the unnamed first-person narrator of Captain Kidnapp, Lady Pirate was a passenger. They steal the cargo, kidnap all on oard and sink the vessel.

During the voyage, the svelte blond is made helpless by ropes, leather straps, cuffs, masks, gags, collars, belts, rings, binders and clamps, often suspended from ceiling beams. The pretty story-teller usually wears frilly bra, panties and high-heeled shoes. The cruel captain wears tall boots, which she forces her captive to clean.

Each of the episodes arranged two or three comic panels on a page with blocks of text. A digital replica of Captain Kidnapp, Lady Pirate collects the 12 episodes, as published in Bizarre Comix, Volume 18, with complete, unmodified page layouts, as sold by Mr. Klaw in the 1950s. The digital replica places one episode per page. Brightness and contrast were adjusted.

All new scans.

The optimized ebook arranges the picture content of 12 episodes on 80 ebook pages. Each picture appears on a separate, wide ebook page, proportioned to show figures filling the screen from top to bottom. Some illustrations of legs, shoes, boots and bondage are repeated, enlarged, sometimes rotated, on following pages. No text.

Mr. Bilbrew's ink flows lyrically to delineate splendid female figures, restrained, pulled, and twisted. His fluid curves and complex bondage schemes show explosive talent as illustrator and designer. Vivid facial expressions mix anguish and anger with feminine appeal.

Perilous Assignment— 20 episodes
Little is known about the comic artist who signed his work Dixon. Some say he was of African descent. One rumor suggests that he was on the illustration staff at venerable comics publisher Fiction House, which became famous for its Sheena, Queen of the Jungle series until the 1950s.

The story involves State Department agents who are sent to a fictitious country to obtain information. The two beauties are soon captured and bound with ropes. The shapely agents are shown in various stages of undress wearing girdles, panties, stockings and high-heeled pumps. Later, they're laced into thigh-high boots. Captives are attached to a bed, plumbing, gymnasium equipment, a horse, and a spanking machine.

Each of the 20 episodes arranged two to four comic panels on a page with blocks of text. A digital replica of Perilous Assignment collects the episodes with complete, unmodified page layouts. The digital replica places each episode on a separate ebook page. Brightness and contrast were adjusted.

All new scans.

The optimized ebook arranges picture content on 90 ebook pages. Each picture appears on a separate, wide ebook page, sized to show characters filling the screen. Some illustrations of legs, shoes, boots and bondage are repeated, enlarged, sometimes rotated, on following pages. No text.

Dixon's graphic style reminds us of his contemporary, Milton Caniff, both of whom could render characters and faces using only black and white to show contour and expression. Dixon's creativity yielded some complex bondage contraptions, but his tableaux show a stasis that Mr. Bilbrew's gift would animate.

Dixon's sexy damsels have ideal shapes, with cinched waistlines and long legs, nicely presented in footwear with ultra-high heels. With clarity and vitality, his women betray a range of stormy moods and dispositions. His style provides the experience of a comic book, but with continuous presentation of restrained, fetish-enhanced femininity.

The art of Dixon is offered here for the first time since Irving Klaw sold the photo prints in the 1950s. We digitally publish his vivid images in two digital iterations that expose talent for rendering female figures in comic narrative.
