A 72-page magazine, High Heels, Number Four, provides prime ebook content with new pictorials and a collection of older pictures. Some iconic Stanton illustrations fill out a few pages.

A Bird in the Bush

In her ornate wig, stockings, gloves and satin corsets, Karen shows off pumps and knee boots with five-inch heels. In two pages of Twin Treats, she's joined by young Sue. They wear boots and hold whips.

Tall and Torrid

Perky and flexible, Terry twists to show off toned curves in high-heeled pumps and boots. Sheer hosiery, long leather gloves and a shiny waist cincher add spice to her presentation.

Wicked and Wanton

“A sweet young lass with a fiery temper,” Sally displays her lean figure in pumps and thigh-high boots. She exposes all of her womanhood as she grasps the handle of a cat-o'-nine tails in her gauntlet glove.

Lashed and Loved (cover tableau)

In tall leather thigh boots, Linda torments her beau with cat and five-inch spikes. When she changes into pumps, she rests those heels on his chest. Then she poses on a chair to show us her shoes, corset, stockings and pretty legs.

Pert 'n Peppery

Here and elsewhere, Mr. Burtman uses code word pepper to identify a dominant female as a trans-gendered male. This theatrical conceit was one his favorite erotic schemes. In shiny boots and jodhpurs, petite “Peppery Sheila” brings lashes Tony to his knees.

Booted Babes

An assortment of models in boots.

High Heel Duo

Mostly wearing pumps and stockings, Darlene and Maxine fool around with each other in an apartment setting. Gloves and boots appear in a few pix.

Hooked on Leather short story

When she sees sexy Rita on the street, Janet is immediately captivated by beauty and attire. In a cozy bar, they get to know and admire each other. In Rita's penthouse, Janet sees how Rita uses her chauffeur. The prose provides copious descriptions of leather attire. Introduced by one Bill Ward illustration.

High Heels Sexual Symbolism article

“The erotic influence of high heels! How males become stimulated through foundling this fetish item. . . . How women feel when wearing . . . . CASE HISTORIES.” Illustrated with photographs and one splendid Eric Stanton drawing.

In the digital replica, some page layouts were revised to accomplish presentation of images at their original size. Most edge margins have been removed, and content fills large ebook pages.

The page sequence was revised to achieve continuity of the short story. All content of the magazine is in the ebook, including ads.

The tonality of pictures was adjusted, and many specks re-touched. Although the magazine's photographs are good for its time, the ebooks provide a viewing experience superior to that of the original.

All new scans. Male and female nudity.

The optimized ebook de-constructs page layouts, positioning 130 pictures on separate ebook pages. The sequence of pictures pursues narrative and costume continuity. Drawings appear at the end of the ebook.

The wide format of the optimized version is intended to reduce the need for zooming and scrolling. Appealing fetish features are repeated, enlarged, beside the complete photograph or on the following page. Most pictures fill optimized ebook pages from top to bottom. This presentation technique presents images with clarity when viewed at full-size.

Unlike early iterations of High Heels magazine, Eros Goldstripe Number Four lives up to its nameplate, showing shoes and boots with proper spikes. Photography, pulchritude, posing and costumes, which sometimes include a whip, are competent. The two digital presentations provide the best mechanism for enjoying the classic femdom fetish content.

NOTE:
Although some parts of pictures are obscured on this page, the ebook shows everything that's in the original.
