Although this 60-page booklet has a catchy Bilbrew picture on the cover, none of his work is found inside. The five illustrations show technique similar to that found in Boy , , Maid Servants with a few added years of development. Whoever the artist was, he ain't no Bilbrew.

Robin's desire to dress in women's clothing drives the story. He's an autonomous adult, married with a friendly wife, whose undies he sometimes wears when she's out. When he visits a boutique to buy clothes for himself, he tells the ex-actress who runs it that they are for his wife. She encourages Robin to try them on for size. After he's dressed en femme, she brings him to her flat and introduces him to her son, Edward. He's delighted and aroused by the feminine presence delivered by his mum. Gay sex ensues, while she assists and Robin experiences new sensations.

Robin has another soiree with three other men during which he dresses as female. His deceit is deliberate and he nearly gets into trouble, but two would-be trouble makers leave and Robin restores conventional attire. But Jim can't forget the comely feminine vision Robin presents in frock and wig and asks Robin to resume his alternate persona. Jim helps attach stocking tops to a girdle. Soon he's engulfed by desire for the feminized male he sees and later, he wants to dress up, too.

The third-person narrative shows distinct British character. While descriptions provide enthusiastic detail, the writer avoids superlatives and other extravagance often found in prose of this sort. Possibly due to this, Girl Boy has a plausible premise that adds unexpected reality to Robin's quest and experimentation. The adult protagonist leads his own sexual expedition, not a more dominant figure. Competent writing exposes the emotions and sensations of erotic circumstances.

The text has been completely re-set for the ebook iteration. Few changes were made to the language of the original, retaining its Britishness. The five illustrations appear near prose they picture. About 21,000 words.

Images were derived from new scans of the booklet. Brightness and contrast were adjusted and specks re-touched.

Ten pictures from Panty-Waist Male supplement the content of Girl Boy and fill the last pages of the ebook. These skillful ink drawings by Mr. Bilbrew have the style of others from his Mutrix transvestite oeuvre. Although not based on original scans, the images enhance the viewing experience.

Construction and material of the booklet are identical to those with the word Mutrix on the cover. Although the illustrations depict incidents in the narrative, this product will be enjoyed best by those who like to read stories about first experimentations with cross-dressing. The book is configured to permit Adobe Acrobat Reader and other programs to read the text out loud.
