The booklet shows a uniquely focused collection of Mr. Bilbrew's femdom art on 30+ pages. In his early fetish work, he shows impressive ability with ink, accomplishing piquant femininity with graceful lines and regions of black. In this set, he uses ink for outlines, footwear, hair and fine details, but body contours are shaded with brushwork, sometimes using tempera.

In every comic story, a woman punishes a man by hitting. Utensils include leather spanker, paddle, quirt, crop, cat, short and long whips, cane, belt and gloved hand. Some scenes show the male in bondage.


Articulate dialog mirrors the ignominy of tableaux, often describing the offense that earned the penalty. Many of the cruel beauties tell their victims to stop whimpering. One wife says, “ . . . mother's on her way. As soon as she's satisfied you've been properly punished for your rudeness, I'll put something on those welts. In the meantime do try to sob more quietly.” Some scenes recall those drawn by Mr. Stanton.


The desirability of punishers and the humiliating positions in which their men are fixed tell ornate domination stories with plenty of degradation and pain, driven by the superiority of women. In the five-panel cover set, Maid's Mercy, a pretty maid binds and whips the man of the house, taking direction from the lady of the house by phone. One scene shows a birthday spanking. A sexy brunette in stockings and high heels tells the man at her feet, “. . . only your rear end can determine the quality of these expensive whips.” A whip-wielding diva holds a dog-training book in her hand.


These are comics with dialog balloons. Some are a single panel, filling one page. In the optimized ebook, these large pictures are shown complete, with figure features or action repeated, enlarged, on the same page or following pages.

Some comics consist of five panels with one panel on one of two pages and four panels on another page. Four panel pages have been disassembled, and each panel fills a separate optimized ebook page from top to bottom.

The brightness and contrast of images were adjusted, yielding balanced picture tone with smooth textures and gradients. Specks and spots were re-touched.
