Male Maids !
We acquired Male Maids! because the cover advertised it as all new and presents an illustration we hadn't seen before. From artist's style and theme, it appeared to be a sequel to Boy ,, Maid Servants. It isn't.

Male Maids ! works as a second edition of Boy ,, Maid Servants, nearly word for word, yet improved. The text was completely re-set by the publisher, on a new typesetting device that renders clear letters.

The first iteration had four illustrations plus an unrelated Stanton beauty on the cover. Opaque negative paint obscures genitalia — that would otherwise be visible — in the four pictures of the booklet and three pictures of obvious continuity we found in another publication.

The second version has a new cover. When shown in scenes, genitalia are visible. Also, the quality of reproduction shows professionalism absent in the first tour.

We don't know of other Mutrix booklets that had a second printing much less a second edition. Someone who worked the Mutrix brand recognized the excellence of the story and its alignment with the artwork.

Janina plays a superb bitch of a wife to submissive husband Jim, similar to sadistic Sada in the Bizarre Honeymoon series. Both brides torment husbands with humiliation, pain, embarrassment, indignity, forced feminization, cuckolding, denial, emasculation, exposure, and domination that lead to surrender of will and self-respect. Few female sadists wreak the emotional cruelty achieved by Janina, although others (see Nita, below) exceed the physical anguish she inflicts.

Brightness and contrast were adjusted and some specks re-touched. The digital replica contains all the content of the booklet in the original sequence, except that the cover illustration is repeated near related text. Although the word Mutrix bleeds at the top edge of the cover, the publication contains no information about the publishing company, place, year, artist or writer, or any advertising.

The author shows profound understanding of the masochist fantasy genre. His twisted anti-heroine takes readers for a rough ride across ultra-kinky sexscapes, just for the thrills of it. For those who read punished-husband-cuckold erotic fiction, this is among the best.





Boy ,, Maid Servants
The ebook is based on a booklet that doesn’t show the publisher. The cover illustration, probably by Eric Stanton, has no connection to the story, but includes the words “A Mutrix Book” at the edge.

This anonymous story presents an outrageous character. A voluptuous English wife, Janina embarks on a journey to explore her desires to punish, embarrass and humiliate husband Jim, as a means of sexual gratification. She orchestrates the concurrent presence of nephew John and another youth, Andre.

A genuine sadist, Janina enjoys the embarrassment of Uncle Jim in drag when witnessed by his nephew and the shame and anger her husband feels when he’s cuckolded by Andre. The three males of the household are required to provide an assortment of bizarre amusements for their Mistress, some of which involve vile bathroom degradations and a variety of sexual exercises designed to tease, tempt and frustrate. All three males are required to wear female attire and participate in sex with each other for her twisted entertainment.

Although the text has typing and spelling errors throughout, the storyteller spins scenarios with clarity and at least identifies articles of clothing. He describes what characters think and feel, how they physically connect, and the appealing anatomical features of his protagonist. This rare literature delineates the strange sexuality of Janina — a woman whose physical and emotional meanness is the stuff masochists’ dreams are made of.

The original cover states that the booklet is illustrated with four drawings. Three drawings have been added to the ebook version from another ebook. The seven are obviously by one artist and depict scenes from the story with the same faces and attire. Although the illustrations may lack the precision of Stanton art or the lyrical flow of Mr. Bilbrew’s ink, they present characters with easily identifiable dispositions, in circumstances that mirror the prose.

Sadism
In the 1960's, this book was advertised in the back of High Heels and other Burtman magazines. The original ad shows the price as $3.00.

Written by Carlson Wade, a frequent contributor to Exotique magazine, the essays present a balanced view of the subject, with short chapters on various fetish interests. Descriptions and explanations are illustrated by cases histories. Most of the book is text, with about 11 pages of photos.

Many physicians are quoted, characterizing the administration of pain on the sex partner as foreplay stimulation for the sadist, a prelude to sex, ideally with a masochist who is excited by being whipped, spanked or humiliated. Although he does not name the disposition, Juvenal, an historian of the Roman Empire, describes a furious woman who viciously punishes household servants for their shortcomings.
The text lists code words used by sadists in personal ads. One case history explains a young woman’s cruelty toward sex partners as symbolic revenge toward men.

The tonality of the photos was adjusted and graininess filtered. The pictures were small in the original and printed on rough-textured paper. About half the photographs are motion picture publicity photos. Others come from Selbee magazines. Generally, the pictures depict whipping and bondage. Except for omitted blank pages, everything that was in the original volume is in the ebook, including one page of ads.

The Stanton Archives Catalogue lists Memoirs of a Masochist as Number 176. The first panel of this three-part comic serial (and the Catalogue) describe it with these words: “The bizarre tale of a man who became a sex-slave to a nympho sadist.”
