Dr. Bienvenu's dissertation does not mention Fantastique magazine or Sheba Publishing Company. We're not aware of any other titles published by Sheba. This may have been an impromptu venture involving the photographer (Sam Menning?) and his associates, one of whom had access to a small, offset printing press. Throughout the six issues of Fantastique we find an array of models posed on a bed made to look like a couch, set against the same brick wall. Some pictures look like they came from Exotique photo shoots.
The premiere issue features cover cutie Joyce Miles, Bettie Page and a few other shapely treats in lingerie. Some of these beauties have aggressive eyebrows and chandelier earrings.
Lace, stripes and ruffles ornament fancy panties. Straplessness appears as a motif for bras, with several beauties in a style with cups separated by wires in front.
Hosiery mostly consists of full-fashioned nylons, sometimes with extra rings below the welt. Fishnets also adorn. Some garters but usually garter belts.
One model poses in a satin onesie, another in a satin skirt. Many wear long leather gloves. One sweetheart smiles in a waist-cincher and pale stockings.
Footwear consists of a mix of shiny boots and shoes, many with high heels. Some pumps have straps. Many pictures, including the back cover, show a woman holding a shoe, as if acknowledging the interest of the viewer.
Many Joyce Miles photos show the costume on the cover: knee-high boots, gloves, FF stockings, and bustier. In a few shots, she wears strappy high-heels. In front of the bar, high-heeled oxfords. She's also seen hugging a fur stole.
Superb booklets containing monochrome photographs of models in fetish attire, Fantastique appeared at irregular intervals during its life of six issues. On its pages, models show off womanly curves in ornate deshabille and sexy footwear. These lovelies seem to want the viewer to believe that they enjoy wearing their intimate attire and know that their audience attends because of it.
Fantastique Photo Album issues are notable for what they don't contain.

The ebook includes all content of the booklet, including one page of advertising for Joyce Miles movies. The original page sequence is retained.
A small amount of walls, floors and furniture was cropped out at the edges. Due to enlargement errors during flat production at the print shop, some photographs do not include complete boots or shoes. Flats contain the negatives used to burn offset plates.
Brightness, contrast and levels were adjusted, shadows reduced and many specks re-touched. The professional photography transposed to ebook format with clarity.
