Comic stories show cantankerous cuties who contend with acquaintances, co-workers, and relatives. Bouts heat up a barn, a backyard, a boxcar, a street, a basement, a store, the ring, an office, an airplane, and behind bleachers.
Stories mix punching and grappling. Women challenge women in most contests, but in a few stories, men are also hit and pinned. Fights develop as revenge, in a dispute over a boyfriend/ fiancé/husband, from an insult, over ownership of a sweater, entitlement to a job, and for even less. Combat pictures show kicks, punches, arm locks, arm twisting, throws, scissoring legs, pins, flips, scratching, pinching and straddles. Clothing is torn, hair is pulled, noses and lips are bloodied. Expect some nudity and face-sitting.
