Dr. Bienvenu's dissertation says that Mr. Burtman referred to Striparama in correspondence in 1961. The title was produced irregularly throughout the 1960s.

Mr. Burtman was so fond of strippers that he married one but she, Tana Louise, shows up only on the letters pages. This issue has pictorials of Marie Davis, Evelyn West, Baby Doll Rosina, Irma - the Body, Dee Thomas, Chen Yu and amateur Kristi. Although sometimes shown with stage make-up and in costume, they are usually shown at home in pinup poses and attire. Like so many Burtman zines, the cover model is not found inside.

Carlson Wade's long article, Struggles of the Strippers, provides a nostalgic history of the ins and outs of burlesque theaters and strippers starting from 1930. The piece is ornamented with photographs of Tee Tee Red, Libby Jones, Lorelie, Zorita, Tinker Bell, Pat Amber Halliday, Lili St. Cyr, and Blaze Starr. Another article, Inside a Strippery, pictures San Francisco entertainers on stage and in dressing rooms. A tasty Eric Stanton illustration introduces Joseph King's short story, School for Strippers.

Every word and picture of the original, including letters to the editor with photos and ads, are included in this page-by-page digital presentation. Many page layouts were revised to obtain larger pictures of the models. Page sequence was modified to present prose pieces on succeeding pages. Digital adjustments and retouching of specks and blemishes improves on the good photography in the original.
