Published at irregular intervals by Satellite Publishing Company (Stanley Malkin and Pat Martini) in the early 1960s, most of the nine Bound volumes featured illustrations by Gene Bilbrew. Satellite, Irving Klaw's Nutrix Publishing Company and Ed Mishkin's Mutrix Publishing Company all had business addresses on Montgomery Street in Jersey City, New Jersey during the 1960s. That didn't mean that they actually did any business there though. New buildings and a parking lot now replace the previous structures.

Bound 7 consists of the fifth installment in a fiction serial called Bondage Hotel. The hotel's management orchestrates a big party that includes a kind of on stage fashion show. The text and eight faithful illustrations describe the bizarre attire of the models who show off their superb bodies in an assortment of exotic costumes. The coordination of text and images is so good that the drawings may have been based on the prose.

Mr. Bilbrew's pencil work here is as good as any he did, with luscious female bodies and faces displayed to emphasize femininity. He did an exceptionally conscientious job with the high-heeled shoes and posed feet of his characters.

The ebook contains every word and picture of the original. While most of the 70 pages are text, the pictures have been optimized in an unusual hybrid e-book layout.

Fourteen Jim illustrations from his middle period are supplemented by 11 photographs of models in bondage situations. These include being tied to trees, in living rooms and in the trunks of automobiles. Mr. Klaw often mixed unrelated pictures with the primary content of his Nutrix booklets to fill the 64 pages.

In each of his scenes, Jim shows helpless lovelies in complex bondage mechanisms that involve rope, chain, clamps, rings, gags, straps, buckles, cinchers, stockings and high-heeled shoes. His dommes wear boots of assorted heights.

The story has an urban setting with undercover state operatives investigating a bizarre household. Much of the text seems written to describe the photographs, but includes many bondage and fetish details that disclose the writer's orientation.

The ebook is a faithful digital replica that includes every page of the reprint in the original sequence.
