Possibly the first photographer to use the expression Leg Art, Elmer Batters is listed as Editor of Nylon Double Take. The magazine presents pretty legs in stockings, often with two models in the picture. Typically, heels are about three inches and hosiery RHT. As Mr. Batters was involved, one set involves white sneakers.
Settings include bedrooms, living rooms, ocean pier, backyard swings, swimming pools, numerous patios and a theme park with a Western motif. One model sells panties. Another plays chess with a guy.
It's all silliness that's used as a pretext to show off legs, stockings and garter belts.
Famous for his preferences as a photographer of women's legs, Mr. Batters' selection of limbs, feminine poses, snug stockings and camera placement harmonize to create excellent pinup pictures. Models appear to be having fun, as if they enjoy having legs that provoke ogling.
The digital replica collects all 80 pages in the original sequence. Picture tonality has been adjusted and specks re-touched. Some page layouts have been revised to obtain larger pictures.
The leggy ladies of Nylon Double Take seem to be first-time models. This may be a magazine Mr. Batters published out of his home, using talent discovered in the neighborhood. Whatever its origin, Nylon Double Take offers a pleasing vocabulary of curves and shapes for legmen who speak any language.

In this booklet of 30 pages, Garter Parade beauties usually wear garter belts. Four sexpots in this issue include Anita Ventura and Mimi Fontana, who appeared on the cover of Leg Show 1 6 .
The focus here is creamy thighs, framed by garter straps and stocking tops. The sexy posers are well-equipped for garter duty.
The tonality of the good photographs was adjusted and specks re-touched. Digital replica pages were sized to have figures fill the screen from top to bottom. The ebook iteration of Garter Parade 16 offers the best means for enjoying the sensuous curves of four sultry models.
