This ebook contains all 68 pages of
Exotique, Number 15. The magazine describes itself as "the publication of Femmes, Fiction, and Future Fashions . . . dedicated to FASHIONS, FADS, and FANCIES . . . " This is another way of saying, "focusing on the interests of fetishists."
One of Mr. Burtman’s most important contributions to the art and history of fetish publishing was his continuous presentation of the works of Eric Stanton and Gene Bilbrew (who also signed his drawings as Eneg, Van Rod, J Bondy, Nan Gilbert and other names). This issue contains three contributions from Mr. Stanton and four illustrations by Mr. Bilbrew plus a four-page episode of his "Mistress" comic serial plus the covers.
Tana Louise's (Mr. Burtman's wife at the time) column, From Me to You, responds to requests she received for a description of the ideal Exotique costume. Her prose is illuminated by three fine photos of her nibs in high-heeled, knee-length boots. The two fiction works include the conclusion to "La Cabeza Humana." In Letters to the Editor, readers disclose their preferences in footwear and fetish attire and share photos of themselves wearing their favorites. Many pages of familiar Burtman models show off their pinup credentials in corsets, stockings, pumps and boots.
