Portrait of Evil
Connoisseur Series, F-6

Mr. Burtman's devil idiom connects sexy women in exotic attire to the downfall of vulnerable males. The premise is that unscrupulous women who present themselves in fetish costumes use their glamor to exploit males who cannot resist their exotic appeal. He pursued the evil/devil idea with titles such as Satana, Satan in High Heels, Devils in Skirts, Deadlier than the Male, and Diabolique.

The pun in the Portrait of Evil title relates to its scenario. In her studio, a photographer takes pictures of a model dressed in sexy lingerie and heels. She creates images of a woman who could exercise the toxic powers of her irresistible allure.

When the model arrives in street clothes, the photog is dressed in tight black leather from neck to ankles. She accessorizes with high-heeled, peep-toe D'Orsay pumps, sunglasses and a classy riding crop.

The model transforms herself into an evil force by donning black RHT stockings and high-heeled sandals with a complexity of encircling straps that extends from toe to calf. She is photographed in a lacy bustier, garter belt, stockings and shoes. The photog helps her into a satin dress and takes more pictures as the poses on a cushioned bench. Then, the dress and sandals are removed, replaced by long leather gloves and black D'Orsays with ankle straps. In the last few pix, she wears red gloves and red platforms.

Impossibly pretty, the model shows us an arry of cheerful smiles and poses that display her excellent curves and lovely legs. Her friendliness shows us a competent cheesecake model using all her assets in the studio. Nothing sinister appears.

Fifteen pictures of other Exotique models complete the 64-page booklet. Most of these models wear corsets and stockings with some exceptionally attractuve pix of Bettie Page.

The booklet contains no narrative text.

The ebook has been configured to present the models in most pictures filling pages from top to bottom. Some furniture, camera equipment, floors and ceilings have been cropped out to accomplish this.

The ebook presentation improves on the good work of the original with adjustments that brighten images and remove spots and specks. The digital rendering provides the best mechanism for enjoying this rare fetish photo set from the 1960s.
